A newly updated ethical framework aims to bring clarity to the use of AI software.
Undetectable AI exposes a responsible use framework for ethical AI humanization, detection, and prevention of abuse
Sheridan. WYOMING, July 11, 2026 (Globe Newswire) — Undetectable AI, an AI detection and humanization startup, has released a detailed ethics framework. The framework covers acceptable and unacceptable use cases of anthropomorphism and detection technologies, as well as guardrails in place to prevent abuse.
According to Undetectable AI, examples of unacceptable humanization use cases include:

According to the Undetectable AI Ethics and Integrity Guide, examples of using humanization in acceptable ways include:

– To improve user experience and quality of life.

The framework also discusses the ethics of AI text detection, deepfake content, and deceptive autonomous/agentic use of its software and artificial intelligence tools.
Regarding AI text detection (specifically), Undetectable AI’s ethics page states that “AI text detection is not currently sufficient to objectively rule out the use of artificial intelligence in text with absolute certainty.” This is especially because text detection is only probability-based and does not have the same data points as other forms of media.
When it comes to guardrails, Undetectable AI uses:
