Meta reportedly shared an interesting announcement that its new artificial intelligence (AI) model Muse Image will now allow users to generate AI content using Instagram posts and reels, and the feature is now enabled by default.

Muse Image is Meta’s first visual representation of Superintelligence Lab’s image-focused AI model, which the company used to use advanced reasoning to master complex concepts and create high-quality work that can be shared across platforms.

Users will be happy to know that it can also be embedded in WhatsApp and Instagram, facilitating AI-powered effects in Instagram Stories and image generation in direct chats with Meta AI on WhatsApp.

The social media giant publicly announced in a post: “You can also @mention Instagram accounts in the Meta AI app to bring specific Instagram profiles into your images.”

“Whether you’re designing a custom event invitation, mocking up a collaborative creative concept, or generating personalized graphics, tag your username and Meta AI will use your public photos to build post-ready visuals.”

Users have the option to tag another public Instagram account in the Meta AI app to create new Reels, posts, and stories. It’s important to note that other users are free to reuse your media for AI generation if your general account settings allow it.

How do I use the Meta Muse tool?

  1. Open an Instagram account
  2. Go to profile options
  3. tap menu
  4. Open settings
  5. Tap Share & Reuse
  6. Allow users to create and reuse content
  7. Turn Off: Create Post and Reel

Google also recently launched a new search service history option within privacy settings. This allows you to store media consisting of images, files, and audio and video recordings to improve AI models for signed-in users.

In this regard, the company states: “Google also uses your history to provide, develop, and improve our services to protect you and the public, with the help of human reviewers.”

Meta confirmed that users can now access higher usage limits through one of their subscription plans. The company has added Muse Image, which will soon be available on Facebook and Messenger, and another tool designed specifically for advertisers.
