ZenBusiness Inc., a company that provides an all-in-one platform to help entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses, today announced that it is expanding its Velo artificial intelligence guide with new planning features for those just getting their footing.
The physical and emotional realities of starting a business can take a toll on new owners who may have little access to the tools and knowledge needed to participate in the trade. Routine tracking of regulations, digital infrastructure, paperwork, and all the moving parts can quickly take a toll.
Velo serves as a source of personalized, always-on business guidance. Capitalizing on the early success and widespread adoption of AI agents, ZenBusiness has added Velo Blueprint, a step-by-step plan focused on providing clear building blocks to grow your business.
This eliminates the need for users to stare at a blank page and allows them to start working right from where they left off. According to ZenBusiness’ own data, most owners don’t start by asking about a specific product or service. They explain where they are in their journey, how ready they are for adoption, whether they are opening a bank account, launching a website, or worrying about licensing.
Entrepreneurs already have their business goals in mind. What they don’t have is a roadmap.
As you progress through each step, Velo validates and understands much of your work. Generate business ideas, estimate start-up costs and advise on business entity selection. Customers who create a free account can save their first blueprint and pick up where they left off on any device, from the web to mobile apps.
“Having helped nearly 1 million people start their own businesses, we’ve seen firsthand how many great ideas never make it past the planning stage,” said CEO and co-founder Ross Brudorff. “We recently surveyed more than 1,000 entrepreneurs and found that nearly 60% said they would rely on AI for guidance when starting or running a business.”
Mr Bourdorf said many pet owners are afraid of making mistakes, don’t know where to start or what information to trust, and are mired in uncertainty when starting out.
This is why ZenBusiness built Velo, which has processed over 2 million conversations since its initial launch in July 2025. More than half of the company’s customers use Velo, and more than 53% return within the same month.
Velo currently handles nearly 72% of conversations and can route users to human experts when judgment, empathy, or additional certainty is needed. The company added that approximately 60% of these high-level calls occur because the AI agent determines that the person is a good fit to help, rather than simply providing an overview, resources, the right website, phone number, or guidance.
According to ZenBusiness, Velo usage data shows that small business owners aren’t looking to AI for answers; they’re using it to make decisions, seek reassurance, understand obligations, and figure out what to do next.
“We were planning to launch a new product line and needed the protection of an LLC, so we asked Velo to help us determine if the business idea made sense,” said Ashley Rector, founder of social media marketing agency Quimby Digital. “It gave me the building blocks and got my head around what I needed to do next. From there, Velo helped me stay on track with everything from keeping the LLC in good shape.”
