Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce’s new AI tool aims to revitalize Big Bend economy
The resource, called the Capital Region Business Concierge, serves as a roadmap for entrepreneurs starting new businesses, existing businesses looking to expand, and outside companies looking to relocate to the region.
Chairman Eddie Gonzalez Loumiet said he formally announced the tool during the chamber and Tallahassee State University’s 2026 AI Innovation Summit.
“We’re going to make doing business in our community more efficient and easier,” he said. “I also think the system is learning and will be able to capture very rich data.”
The tool uses data such as industry, business size, timeline, and goals to generate a personalized action plan. Then, identify contacts and direct users to available resources and programs.
The tool is designed to promote economic development, create good-paying jobs and improve the quality of life in the region, according to the website.
“We want to improve our schools. We want to improve our infrastructure. We definitely need to improve our crime situation. My approach and the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce’s approach is through a strong private sector, through strong economic development, and making sure that people have a fair opportunity to get great jobs,” Gonzalez-Leumier said.
He said the site has already received positive feedback, with more than 1,000 page views within 24 hours of going live.
