Congress on Thursday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for posting an AI-generated video depicting highly developed roads in Bihar’s capital Patna. The party claimed the video was created using artificial intelligence and was removed after people realized it was not real.

The Congress’s official handle shared a now-deleted post on X and said that the Bharatiya Janata Party, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, had posted a fake AI-generated video. He added that the prime minister’s “empty” image is built on these falsehoods.
“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP posted a fake AI-generated video. People realized their ruse and the video has now been deleted,” the party said.
“The empty image of a deceitful PM Modi is built on such lies, but now their lies will no longer hold water.”
Congress shared the two videos side by side in separate posts. The first is said to have been created using AI, while the second is said to show the “real Bihar”.
The party captioned the post, “If Mr. Modi is there, there is fraud.”
“Patna has transformed into AI,” says TMC.
The Trinamool Congress also slammed the video, saying that Patna had been “AI developed” before it was actually developed under the Bharatiya Janata Party government.
The party shared the video on X and wrote, “More to say, AI – विकसित AI.”
“Patna revamped AI before it was actually developed under @BJP4India regime!”
Hindustan Times also checked and could not find the video on the official X-handle of the BJP, which claimed to have been posted by the Congress. However, the same video was found posted on the official handle of Bharatiya Janata Party Bihar.
The BJP is yet to comment on the allegations.
