The former UFC two-division champion shared a bizarre AI-generated video online that appears to show him singing on stage at a reality talent show, before announcing he would beat Max Holloway this summer. The Irish fighter is scheduled to return to the Octagon on July 11th at UFC 329 in Las Vegas, marking his first fight since injuring his leg against Dustin Poirier in 2021.McGregor and Holloway first met in 2013, early in both fighters’ UFC careers, with McGregor earning a unanimous decision victory. Since then, their careers have taken completely different paths. While McGregor has been out of action in recent days due to injuries and extended layoffs, Holloway remains one of the UFC’s busiest stars. The Hawaiian fighter has competed eight times since McGregor’s last appearance and remains active in several major title fights across various weight classes.

This unusual AI clip quickly went viral on social media. In the video, Conor McGregor appears in a fictional singing contest, holding a dog and performing in front of cheering fans and applauding judges. Near the end of the clip, the former champion confidently declared that he would beat Holloway if they met again in Las Vegas.McGregor also posted a playful caption alongside the video. He jokingly thanked his fans for rooting for him and his dog during his performance on the fictional talent show, and urged his followers to continue voting for him for “the next episode.” This post further increased attention to his future return to the UFC.The July bout will be McGregor’s first appearance inside the cage in five years. His future was in doubt after sustaining a serious leg injury during his second straight loss to Poirier at UFC 264.
