According to a Wall Street Journal report, Google plans to make its search engine more “visual, accessible, personal and human.” This enhancement brings AI capabilities such as chat and video.

Meanwhile, the company opened up its chatbot Bard AI to all users with a Workspace account.

Google recently announced an upgrade to its generative AI chatbot Bard AI, allowing individuals to write code and develop software.

Tech giants are changing the way search results are presented to incorporate conversations with AI, in addition to short videos and social media posts. The company reportedly plans to bring in human voices to support content creators similar to its website.

At its annual I/O developer conference this week, Google will be announcing a new feature that will allow users to converse with AI projects codenamed Magi.

A Google spokesperson said search has “always been an incredibly dynamic and rapidly evolving field.”

Sources have revealed that the company is focusing on a long-term approach to changing its services, including the integration of AI and visual capabilities.

“As search evolves, providing quality information and supporting a healthy and open web will remain core to our approach,” the spokesperson added.
