Today, we’re launching a fully upgraded Vibe coding experience in Google AI Studio. It is designed to turn prompts into production-ready applications. From multiplayer experiences and installing external libraries to ways to save your progress and log in securely, you can now build truly functional AI-native applications without leaving the Vibe coding experience.
We’re using the new Google Antigravity coding agent to accelerate the path from prompt to production. To further support modern, scalable applications, we’ve also enabled a robust backend that brings secure storage and user authentication to your apps through built-in Firebase integration.
Experience the difference from prototype to production app
Here’s how the new update can help you build real apps.
- Build a multiplayer experience: Create real-time multiplayer games, collaborative workspaces, and sharing tools that instantly connect users.
- Add database and authentication. The agent now proactively detects when your app requires a database or login. When you approve the Firebase integration, Cloud Firestore is provisioned for your database and Firebase Authentication is provisioned for secure sign-in with Google.
- Create for the modern web. Agents now use a vast ecosystem of modern web tools. When you need smooth animations or professional icons, the agent automatically finds the right solution, like installing Framer Motion or Shadcn, to bring your vision to life.
- Connect to real-world services. Turn your prototype into production-grade software by connecting to the services you already use. You can now use your own API credentials to securely integrate services such as databases, payment processors, Google services like Maps, and more. The agent detects when a key is needed and[設定]Securely store your keys in the new Secrets Manager tab.
- Pick up where you left off: Access your data across devices and sessions. When you close your browser tab, the app remembers where you left off, so you can continue whenever you’re ready to come back.
- Access more powerful agents. Build complex apps with simpler prompts. Agents now have a deeper understanding of the overall project structure and chat history, allowing for faster iteration and more accurate multi-step code editing.
- Build with Next.js. In addition to React and Angular, we now support ready-to-use Next.js apps. Select your framework in the updated Settings panel.
