Anthropic’s Claude for Small Business plugin brings new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered capabilities to tools commonly used by small businesses, the company and its partners announced Wednesday (May 13).
Claude for Small Business, introduced Wednesday, is a package of connectors and ready-to-run workflows that embeds Anthropic’s Claude AI assistant within these tools, Anthropic said in a press release.
“Claude for Small Business runs within the tools owners already use, like QuickBooks, PayPal, and HubSpot, and takes on the many tasks that pile up during off-hours, like planning payroll, tracking invoices, and kickstarting marketing projects,” Anthropic co-founder and president Daniela Amodei said in a release. “Businesses are run by people, and Claude helps me get rid of those late-night jobs.”
Claude for Small Business currently integrates with seven tools.
Canva said in a press release Wednesday that by integrating its Canva design engine into Claude for Small Business, small business owners will be able to quickly develop branded campaign assets such as Instagram posts, Facebook posts, and custom ads.
PayPal said in a press release Wednesday that the integration with Claude for Small Business will enable Claude to handle tasks such as billing and refunds, requiring approval before sending or paying. As reported by PYMNTS, PayPal has partnered with Anthropic to offer a free online course called AI Fluency for Small Businesses.

By integrating Intuit QuickBooks’ agent AI capabilities into Claude for Small Business, small businesses can “remove the complexity of financial management, accelerate payroll workflows, and generate data-backed insights,” said Joe Preston, vice president of product management at Intuit QuickBooks, in an Anthropic press release.
HubSpot’s integration with Claude for Small Business gives your go-to-market teams access to HubSpot’s context no matter where they work. This “gives you customized answers, summaries, and visualizations directly from your customer platform so you can segment smarter, run better campaigns, and capture more leads,” Angela DeFranco, general manager and vice president of Marketing Hub Products at HubSpot, said in an Anthropic release.
According to an Anthropic release, Docusign’s integration with Claude for Small Business allows you to send contracts for signature, track their status, and file the resulting copies in the appropriate location.
Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 are also integrated with Claude for Small Business, according to the release.
