MORGANTOWN, WV — Three small businesses received thousands of dollars in professional services from Amazon Web Services after winning the West Virginia Small Business Development Center’s AI Pitch Competition.
In addition to AWS, WV SBDC partnered with PREDICTif Solutions/nClouds and TechConnect West Virginia for the event held as part of 2026 Bridging Innovation Week.
Charleston-based ReShore Technologies, a platform that connects importers with West Virginia manufacturers, won first place and up to $50,000 in AWS services. Second place and up to $35,000 in AWS services was awarded to Heliox Semiconductor of Charleston. The company designs hardware and AI systems that protect physical assets from catastrophic destruction, degradation, and cyberkinetic attacks. Woodland Hills Assisted Living, a family-run senior living facility in Weirton, received up to $25,000 in AWS services for third place.
Depending on program eligibility and scope, this award can be allocated to technical resources, architectural support, and solution development provided by PREDICTif/nClouds in collaboration with AWS.

Ten West Virginia-based small businesses were selected from more than 60 applicants to present their proposals to AWS leaders and industry experts. These include Atlas Prediction Control, Battle Buddy Bears LLC, BioImaginix, Edubio LLC, Heliox Semiconductor Inc., Market Leader Technologies Corporation, MíMíroir Technologies, Questr Automation Inc., ReshoreWV, and Woodland Hills Assisted Living.
“We had many innovative applicants, and the selected participants did an excellent job in their respective pitches,” said Will Miller, West Virginia SBDC State Director. “We would like to once again congratulate the winners and hope that these awards will help them grow their businesses. We would like to thank everyone involved and thank Amazon Web Services, nClouds Inc., and TechConnect West Virginia for their valuable partnership and support for West Virginia’s small businesses.”
