A sequel to the hit teen drama, which finished its third season last year, is currently in production. Photos and videos of the cast filming are already going viral on social media.
However, the streamer is now asking fans for privacy. In a joint Instagram post, Amazon MGM Studios, Prime Video, and the show’s official account wrote, “We love the excitement, but sharing locations and visiting sets disrupts filming and raises major safety concerns for our cast and crew. We are working hard to create a protected bubble to make the best film possible.”
“Please help us protect Cousins’ magic until we are ready to share it,” the statement concludes. The post also includes a video of the words “Privacy please” written in the sand on a beach.

The main cast, including Laura Tung, Christopher Blainey, Gavin Casaleño, Sean Kaufman, and Layne Spencer, will also return for the feature film. Author Jenny Han will co-write the screenplay with Sarah Kuselka and direct the film.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the film is expected to conclude Berry’s (Tan) journey, who rekindled her romance with Conrad (Bryney) at the end of season three.
“There was another major milestone left in Berry’s journey, and I knew only a movie could give it the value it deserved,” Han previously said in a statement. “I’m so grateful to Prime Video for continuing to support my vision for this story and allowing me to share this final chapter with my fans.”
