Approximately 4,000 students have completed training to date, and the project has reached approximately 100,000 participants. This was announced during a working meeting between Minister Sayasat Nurbek and Paul Kim, an international AI expert and one of the main developers of the AI-SANA program.
The attendees also included representatives of subordinate organizations of the Kazakhstan-Kharkina Public Foundation and project partners. The parties discussed the second phase of the program, paying particular attention to the quality of education and student participation.

Paul Kim presented an approach to implementing the second and third phases of the program based on the Stanford University methodology. He also talked about the practice-oriented learning format on the SMILE platform. This format combines theoretical knowledge with applied tasks to develop entrepreneurial skills and create artificial intelligence solutions.
Particular attention was paid to strengthening the role of universities in supporting training, strengthening the work of mentors, and improving monitoring of program completion.
After the meeting, both parties agreed to continue systematic efforts to expand the scale of the AI-SANA project in Kazakhstan and develop AI specialized human resources.
As previously announced by Minister Sayasat Nurbek, 27 universities have been selected to roll out the AI-SANA program.
