Explosive Media is one of several groups using artificial intelligence to create pro-Iranian videos that look and feel like this: lego movieYouTube announced that it had suspended the account.
However, the group’s accounts on X, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, and UpScrolled are not affected.
“Our YouTube channel has been removed again due to ‘violent content’,” the group posted on X.
“Seriously! Is our Lego-style animation actually violent?”
YouTube, which is owned by Google’s parent company Alphabet, has not yet responded to a request for comment, as has Explosive Media.
The popularity of a video that uses the Lego toy brand’s likeness in the style of a movie produced by Warner Bros. has also raised legal issues.
“Will the Lego company just accept it or call the United Nations and have a legal argument?” joked user X in response to one of his recent videos.
“I don’t think Iran needs to abide by US copyright laws,” another posted.
Explosive Media’s Instagram account was temporarily blocked for several hours on Thursday, but was later reinstated.

Lego, which is based in Denmark, has not yet responded to a request for comment. Warner Bros. also did not immediately respond.
The creation of AI-generated videos continues to proliferate, and even President Trump’s White House has released some AI-generated videos and photos. The group’s content began appearing in 2025 and consisted primarily of political commentary by young Iranians.

The video was viewed millions of times and shared on official social media accounts of Iranian officials and embassies around the world.
Meanwhile, 99% of the country’s population has been without internet access for more than a month as a result of an internet blackout in Tehran that Iran says is necessary to prevent the spread of misinformation.
Netblox, a nonprofit organization that monitors technology and internet governance, criticized the outage.
NetBlocks posted on its social media accounts on Friday: “Iran’s internet blackout is now in its 42nd day in 984 hours.”
“While the general public is restricted to local national intelligence networks, selected users can be whitelisted by the regime and deliver alternative narratives to the outside world through social media.”
