Recently, Bangalore Traffic Police posted an important video message on their official Instagram account. But it was the creativity behind the message that caught the internet’s attention. Read on to know more about this viral video.
Bangalore Police Traffic Bureau shares video about speeding
The video, which appears to be AI-generated to raise awareness about the effects of speeding, shows a cemetery with coffins placed side by side, each marked with a speed limit number such as 108km/h, 118km/h or 200km/h. This video clearly demonstrated with powerful visuals that speeding can kill you and end up in your grave. Bangalore Traffic Police shared the video and wrote, “The thrill of speed… until you get the bill. Speeding may look cool in reels, but it’s a dangerous job on real roads. Slow down and stay safe. Because it’s better to arrive late than never arrive at all.”

Opinions on popular videos on the internet are divided
As soon as the post went viral, it received a variety of reactions from netizens. While many praised the creativity of the Bangalore Police, others questioned the management and also cited other factors contributing to the rise in road accidents in the city. One user wrote, “What happens to bad roads??” Some people said, “Watch out for potholes.” They also praised the creativity, saying, “Good… big round of applause for the content team,” “Creative content is smooth… but our path is not,” and “The level of creativity is high.”
According to the Deccan Herald, one of the issues that dominated civil conversation in Bengaluru was the city’s roads. Many of the accidents were related to the cratered road, highlighting how difficult it is to commute within the city.
Recently, the Bangalore Police Traffic also made headlines for placing a wrecked car at a busy intersection in the city. Earlier this year, police set up four damaged vehicles at several important locations in the city including Indiranagar, Jayanagar, Brigade Road and Hebbal flyover.
