Superstar icons Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan will reunite on screen after more than four decades in the much-awaited film tentatively titled ‘KHxRK’. The project has already caused a wave of excitement across the industry. The official promo further ramped up the hype, but also sparked an unexpected debate over whether artificial intelligence was used to create the model shown in the video.
Manufacturer releases BTS video to end AI speculation
The makers have shared a new behind-the-scenes video on social media in which director Nelson Dilipkumar is seen supervising the shoot along with the lead stars and composer Anirudh Ravichander. The footage clearly shows the real actress acting in the promo. This directly contradicts speculation that the women were generated by AI. Previously, some users claimed that the actresses were not real. However, if you look at the BTS footage, it’s clear that the promotion was filmed using realistic on-site performances. The manufacturer does not add any digital fabrication. The models in the clip were real individuals working in a team.
fan reaction
Once the post was published, the comment section quickly filled up. One user wrote, “Who said that model was AI?” Another added: “Looking for the person who said it’s all AI.” A more avid follower commented, “And this is called Real Hard Work. Dedication and Commitment AI may be great, but Real is always permanent and can be replaced!” Another person agreed, saying, “You’ve probably seen the guy saying it’s AI.”
A big star is asked to appear as a guest.
While the AI debate is settled, another big update is stirring up new excitement. Veteran actor Mammootty has reportedly been approached for a guest appearance in the film. According to a report shared by the Twitter page ‘Hey Opinions’, the star will play an “old gangster buddy” of Kamal Haasan’s character. The post read, “Almost confirmed! #Mammootty will be making a guest appearance in the #KHxRK movie as an old gangster friend of #KamalHaasan’s character. Kamal has always wanted to share screen space with Mammootty and it was his suggestion to have Mammootty a part of the movie…!”
