ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited will participate in Indus AI Week 2026, the country’s national artificial intelligence forum, to share industry insights and practical AI use cases in line with Pakistan’s growing focus on advanced technologies.

During the event, the company will outline its transition from a traditional carrier to a technology-driven organization using artificial intelligence, backed by international innovation expertise. Ongoing efforts include developing new AI infrastructure in Pakistan and investing in high-performance computing and GPU capabilities to support advanced data processing and emerging AI workloads.

The company’s event will feature an industry showcase featuring eight AI-based applications. These demonstrations will highlight operational efficiency, enterprise solutions, comprehensive digital services, and how AI can be applied in real-world environments across a variety of sectors.

At the AI ​​Summit, PTCL and Ufone President and CEO Hatem Bamatlav will deliver a keynote address focused on translating the vision of AI into concrete national outcomes and the role of the private sector in supporting long-term digital and economic development. He will be joined by Mouteih Chaghil, Chief Cloud Officer at e&Enterprise, for a panel discussion on cloud and AI adoption.
