Travis Scott shares rare parenting insight on why he wants to distance his children, Stormi and Ia, from artificial intelligence while they are still young.
The rapper recently sat down with rolling stone He then talked about his journey as a father and how much he has changed since becoming a father.
It’s pertinent to mention that Travis shares daughter Stormi and son Aire with ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
Sharing how his son became fascinated with technology during a recent visit to an amusement park, the father-of-two revealed he draws the line at AI.
“My son is three years old now, almost four years old,” he told the media. “I took him to the Disney Imagineering spot and his heart was just excited when he saw the robots and all the new technology and how it was being built.”
“My kids don’t have AI,” Travis said.
Travis wants Stormy and Air to learn the basics first before using AI, which he believes could limit a child’s ability to learn.
“Introducing AI now will compress the brain’s full potential,” he argued.
The doting father further spoke about his approach: “So they have to learn how to learn in a physical, hands-on way, so they can actually know how to get the most out of AI. Because if artificial intelligence does everything for you, how do you know what’s right and what’s wrong?”
