There are different generations of tools when it comes to automated machine learning. Legacy tools such as AWS Sagemaker, Google AutoML, etc. have been around for quite some time and their main goal was to help machine learning engineers and technicians.
But now we have even better tools. Apparently AI CEO Nirman Dave argued that their model outperforms his AWS Sagemaker and Google AutoML models.
Based in San Francisco, Reveal AI specializes in building no-code AI models for businesses. Dave founded the startup with a mission to turn every company into his AI company and is proud to have developed the fastest and most accurate no-code AI tools ever.
“So, in just minutes, our customers have access to these machine learning models that they can build or customize themselves,” explains Dave.
But on the other hand, legacy tools that have been around for nearly 13-15 years and are very slow to build models. “What’s really special about what we do is that models can be built by him in less than a minute, so we are currently the fastest tool for building AI models,” says Dave. added.
However, Dave admits that his company isn’t the only one building similar tools. But there are other companies that have built no-code AI tools, but their approaches are very different.
“We are primarily focused on tabular data, supervised learning. .”
But another company building no-code AI tools, Levity AI, for example, focuses primarily on image, video, or audio type data.
request
Founded in 2021, apparently AI has boarded 52 customers so far. Most of them are in the US, but the startup also has customers in India, Japan, and South Africa.
“Right now, we’re growing about 15% week-over-week in terms of customer acquisition,” he said.
One of the startup’s big customers in India is a large consumer bank. Dave reveals that he is building a loan repayment model for this bank. Normally, the loan underwriting process takes a significant amount of time if done manually.
“They wanted to build a model that could process loans quickly, predict the likelihood of default, and pass it on to underwriters to make decisions,” Dave said.
AI model maker
This startup is primarily involved with mid-sized businesses that don’t have data science teams or can’t scale their data science teams, and enterprise businesses that may have outstanding data science teams.
“Basically, we are the makers of AI models,” says Dave. The process begins with you bringing a set of data into our platform and specifying the desired prediction or AI model based on that data.
“Then we help with everything from data cleaning, to model selection, to hyperparameter tuning, to model deployment and management, all of which is done automatically by the system,” Dave added. rice field.
The user interface is also designed for less technical users. In addition, another thing that AI clearly offers and excels at is dedicated data science support.
“Basically, we work with a lot of data scientists. We provide these customer connections,” said Dave.
work impact
On the contrary, there is growing concern that no-code tools can negatively impact jobs, especially those that involve coding and software development. As these tools become more sophisticated and accessible, certain roles will require less traditional coding skills, potentially leading to changes in the job market.
But Dave clearly believes that AI no-code tools aren’t replacing data scientists, they’re accelerating the data science process.
“Companies like Hewlett-Packard use us not because they want to get rid of data science teams. In fact, they want to accelerate data science teams.
“The goal here is to help them move faster. It takes the data science team two months to go from raw data to insights, analysis and predictions. Now it takes a week to a few days. I guess.”
Moreover, building AI models is not the only job of a data scientist. But be strategic.
“So I don’t think data scientists will be replaced. I think no-code tools just help them focus more on the most exciting part of the job: strategy,” concludes Dave.
