Google's AI video maker Flow now available to Workspace users
First released in May last year

What’s the story?

Google’s innovative AI video creation tool Flow is now available to users on Business, Enterprise, and Education Workspace plans. The expanded access comes after the tool was first released last May and was limited to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers. Customers with Business, Enterprise, and Education workspace plans can now also use this cutting-edge technology to create videos from text prompts and images.

Advanced Flow features and functionality

Flow uses Google’s AI video generation model Veo 3.1 to create 8-second clips from text prompts or images. Users can combine these clips to form long scenes and use various tools to change the lighting, adjust the camera angle, and add or remove objects in the scene. Recently, Google also added vertical video support within Flow to improve the user experience.

Integration of audio support and AI-powered image generator

Last year, Google added audio support to even more features within Flow. This enhancement allows users to generate audio based on reference images, create transitions between scenes, and enhance clips. The company has also integrated its AI-powered image generation tool Nano Banana Pro into Flow. You can use it to create starting points for characters or clips, further enhancing the tool’s functionality.
