Brandy Durham has taken on new responsibilities as Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer at ManTech.
The Herndon, Virginia-based company announced Wednesday that Durham will lead the continued expansion of its data and AI practices.

Who is Brandi Durham?
Mr. Durham joined ManTech in 2023 as Vice President of Data and AI Practice.
“Since joining ManTech, Brandy has built ManTech’s data and AI practice into a premier center of excellence,” commented Joe Cabba, the company’s chief growth officer. “She has assembled a world-class team with a deep understanding of our clients’ missions and the expertise to turn data and AI into real operational results.”
Prior to joining ManTech, he was a senior practice manager for artificial intelligence supporting the national security community at Amazon Web Services, where he led independent research and development efforts and oversaw client projects across data science, computer vision, natural language processing, machine learning engineering, graph analytics, and quantum computing.
Earlier in his career, Durham spent more than 10 years at IBM, leading data, AI, analytics, sales and delivery for U.S. federal and public sector customers around the world.
Her work history also includes positions at Microsoft, Booz Allen Hamilton, and General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, according to LinkedIn.
Durham holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Saint Mary’s University and a master’s degree in political science from Texas A&M University.
How has ManTech brought data and AI across federal missions?
Over the past year, ManTech has taken steps to expand its data and AI practices.
The company acquired Elder Research, which provides AI and data science platforms to U.S. government customers and Fortune 500 companies. ManTech has also partnered with Oracle to combine data and AI expertise with cloud and security technologies to support government AI workloads.
Additionally, ManTech introduced agent AI capabilities to the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center and provided machine learning capabilities to the Department of Homeland Security and law enforcement to enhance border security operations.
