Seoul, South Korea — K-snap is officially launched as South Korea's first AI-powered multilingual K-culture platform, designed to transcend language barriers and deliver real-time entertainment and cultural news to a global audience.
The Entertainment Platform Service is operated by Hecto Media, a subsidiary of Hecto Group.
As global interest in K-content continues to accelerate, international fans are seeking faster and more reliable access to developments across the Korean entertainment industry. However, real-time reporting remains constrained by translation delays and editorial bottlenecks.
To address these challenges, K-snapp implemented an AI-driven system that collects and analyzes entertainment news and K-star social media data, identifies important topics based on global fan interests, and automates the entire process, from translation and editing to multilingual distribution.
The platform currently offers services in English, Spanish, and Japanese, with plans to expand to additional languages, including Chinese.
Since its early days, K-snap has attracted a global audience, primarily through Instagram, where its follower count approaches 30,000.
Leveraging its proprietary technology framework, Hecto Media is exploring collaboration opportunities with global media outlets, entertainment companies, and platform operators to enable cost-effective and scalable deployment of AI-powered K-content services.
K-snap said, “As global expectations are rising due to the expansion of K-content, K-snap is a platform that quickly and accurately delivers news about Korean artists.''K-snap added, “Starting with the expansion of multilingual services, we aim to evolve into a global fandom platform that includes community and payment functions.''
