A Tesla owner recently shared a fun, chaotic, and very 2025-esque use case for the company's FSD software, which relies heavily on computer vision and other AI technologies.

After parking overnight in a loading zone (“We don't tow on Sundays,” the wife insisted), the couple watched from a fifth-floor window as security guards prepared to tow the Tesla.

In a panic, he kicked off his shoes and started sprinting, but his wife yelled, “Hold on, call me!”

He opened the Tesla app from his breakfast table, tapped “Summon,” and watched the car wake up, slide out of the loading zone, and roll into the building's front door. The owner was just in time to jump into the car.

The security guard was stunned and asked if it was “like Waymo”. Cue an impromptu FSD TED talk.

The owner says the FSD saved him $400 in travel costs and tow yards, making it the “best purchase he ever made.”
