Marrakech – BLS International Services Limited, which operates Spanish and Portuguese visa services in Morocco, announced a strategic technology partnership with Sypha AI to implement next-generation digital infrastructure powered by artificial intelligence.
The partnership aims to accelerate the modernization of complex mission-critical systems through Sypha AI's software engineering platform, which drives automatic technology upgrades, advanced architecture automation, and secure code generation.
We also strive to strengthen operational excellence at our Moroccan visa processing center and across our global operations.
BLS International works as a partner with governments and diplomatic missions in multiple countries. It has maintained an established presence in Morocco since 2016, managing eight visa application centers across six cities, including Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Tetouan, Agadir and Nador.
The company defines itself as providing safe and modern services fully compliant with the standards of Spanish and Portuguese diplomatic missions.
The company will deploy Sypha's AI-driven software engineering platform to modernize its legacy systems and build scalable, intelligent solutions for its global visa processing operations.
The partnership will enable BLS International to accelerate software development, upgrade legacy platforms and deploy advanced solutions for visa, consular and citizen services around the world.
This platform enables rapid system updates while improving speed, reliability, and compliance standards.
Sypha's platform automates the architectural refactoring and application development process. These capabilities allow businesses to redesign complex systems in a compressed time frame while maintaining compliance standards.
Expected improvements also include faster rollout of digital services, significantly reduced visa processing times, enhanced fraud detection and risk analysis systems, and improved user experience for citizens and travelers.
Increased global travel drives demand for technology
This collaboration meets the growing expectations of travelers and government officials, especially in a dynamic market like Morocco.
The global visa outsourcing market is projected to grow from $1.7 billion in 2024 to $3.2 billion by 2029. The acceleration of international travel is increasing the demand for advanced technology solutions in visa processing operations.
“Artificial intelligence is transforming the landscape of consulate and visa services, moving from intelligent automation to advanced risk-based decision-making while delivering highly personalized citizen experiences,” said Shikhar Agarwal, co-managing director, BLS International.
Shawn Chauhan, CEO and founder of Sypha AI, called the partnership “a major step toward deploying future-ready, globally adapted, AI-driven solutions.” He noted the combination of BLS International's experience supporting governments in more than 70 countries and Sypha's enterprise AI expertise.
