New Relic’s MCP Server integration with AWS DevOps Agent and Amazon Quick Suite enables businesses to find the root cause of incidents, quickly remediate them, and improve uptime.
New Relic AI now pulls enterprise data from the Amazon Q index to provide a complete view of the technical and business impact of an incident in one place.
New Relic Security RX Cloud enables enterprises to strengthen their cloud security posture and developer productivity with intelligent observability insights directly within their workflows.
Las Vegas, December 2, 2025–(Business Wire)–AWS RE:INVENT—New Relic, the Intelligent Observability company, announced a suite of integrations with Amazon Web Services (AWS) that brings New Relic’s AI capabilities and observability insights directly to AWS AI services. This integration brings together AWS developers, DevOps engineers, SREs, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 incident responders in the field, allowing enterprises to securely accelerate AI and agent workflows, optimize operations, and reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR).
New Relic integrates MCP Server with AWS DevOps Agent and Amazon Quick Suite to power AWS collaboration, reduce manual effort, and accelerate incident resolution. Additionally, the company is bringing enterprise data from Amazon Q Index into New Relic AI, allowing users to connect technical failures to business impact. New Relic also announced Security RX Cloud, which unifies security and posture management for customers.
“As organizations increasingly embrace AI and agent workforces, leaders are realizing that observability is not an option, but a prerequisite for running AI in production,” he said. Brian Emerson, Chief Product Officer, New Relic. “Our integration with AWS leverages the power of agent AI to predict issues, allowing enterprises to move beyond the black box with the observability of full-stack AI to speed up troubleshooting and decision-making. This helps drive business growth and agent AI in production at scale.”
According to Gartner, global AI spending is expected to exceed $2 trillion in 2026. However, engineering and IT teams using agent AI face fragmented workflows and a lack of context that slows release speeds and increases the risk of costly incidents. New Relic has expanded its integrated intelligent observability platform and MCP server to help AWS customers address these challenges.
Power your agent AI at scale with direct access to actionable, intelligent observability insights from AWS
New Relic MCP Server gives common AI assistants and agents direct access to detailed observability insights that can be embedded into engineers’ workflows and executed quickly. Thanks to new integrations, when an alert occurs, AWS DevOps Agent calls the New Relic MCP server to generate and provide intelligent observability insights, such as root cause analysis and business context for the alert, to help your solution suggest and take mitigation actions.
New Relic MCP Server now also integrates with Amazon Quick Suite. The application triggers the New Relic MCP server when an alert occurs, delivering the same intelligent telemetry insights that help speed incident management. AWS customers can expect to significantly reduce manual effort, speed incident resolution, and maximize business uptime.
New Relic AI provides users with the business context of an incident, with answers, not just data.
DevOps engineers, SREs, or Tier 1 and Tier 2 incident handlers who respond to incidents often struggle to gather context from multiple disparate siled systems and manually search for deployment notes and playbook resources, slowing down resolution time. Agentic AI tools also lack organization-specific context to provide enterprise-level compliance guardrails. To solve these challenges, New Relic AI now integrates with Amazon Q Index, a fully managed search service that securely captures and integrates enterprise data through a single API call.
This integration enables New Relic AI to access critical information from across a company’s datasets to provide deep insights and analysis when an incident occurs. When an engineer asks a natural language question in New Relic AI, it calls an Amazon Q index that contains your organization’s enterprise data. The index returns relevant information, and New Relic AI generates a consistent answer based on the initial query. This gives SREs a complete view of the technical and business impact of an incident in one place, allowing them to resolve issues faster.
IT teams can now strengthen their security posture without leaving developer workflows.
New Relic Security RX Cloud provides DevOps and DevSecOps teams with unified security insights to prioritize risks and accelerate software development. New agent integration with AWS reduces context switching and bridges build-time insights to runtime configuration, allowing teams to automate remediation of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) vulnerabilities directly from the AWS console, command-line interface (CLI), or within configuration templates such as teraform and cloud formation.
AWS users get a comprehensive view to discover, manage, and remediate cloud resources and misconfigurations, as well as vulnerabilities in their apps and infrastructure. Contextualize security findings based on runtime configuration, ownership, and operational details to provide remediation options that prioritize the highest risks. This enables faster resolution, better team collaboration, and a clearer understanding of your security posture through a single console.
Availability on AWS Marketplace accelerates adoption of New Relic for SAP with native connectors for one-step observability without the need to deploy agents.
New Relic Monitoring for SAP Solutions is now available on AWS Marketplace. It has native connectors to SAP and non-SAP systems, clouds, processes, and experiences, providing predictive and complete insights without deploying agents in SAP. This eliminates business process interruptions related to SAP systems that are time-consuming and costly for customers to resolve.
New Relic is also featured in the newly updated RISE with SAP on AWS technical documentation, which provides AWS-focused guidance on RISE with SAP observability options.
