According to Naukri JobSpeak report for August 2025, there was an overall growth of 54% in AI/ML jobs, with Hyderabad witnessing a significant 45% growth in unicorn hiring and a 10% increase in overall hiring, emerging as the top metro city. This makes the city a hub for AI startups and innovation. This proves that the city is rapidly growing in AI-related jobs and emerging as a strong contender among major cities.

The vacancy for remote jobs for Artificial Intelligence Engineer in Pune is 30% while the vacancy for hybrid jobs is 23%.

Mumbai has emerged as a strong contender for AI careers. According to the report, the city aims to become a hub for AI innovation. The plan is to train one in four AI professionals, create more than 100 unicorns by 2035, and attract large-scale FDI.
