Oracle Launches Computer Vision
When I was in college in the 1990s, computer vision was about trying to recognize shapes via different colored pixels in an image. It used to be a difficult field, but today computer vision has become much easier with machine learning. Also, image classification training (telling a model whether a picture is a hot dog or a cat) is like the “Hello World” of computer vision.
Oracle’s free training course explains how to train an image classifier by explaining the basic principles and the open-source PyTorch library that helps you implement them. This course will show you how to train a model using only CPU and explain how to take advantage of GPU resources to improve the performance of your code.
