“If the evaluation is passed, an immediate interview will be held at an exhibition with the hiring manager,” she added.

Recruitment will not be held immediately at the exhibition. However, E&Works facilitates the recruitment process and subsequent steps, providing opportunities for post-exhibition follow-up.

Interview with AI Avatar

“For the first time this year, the company is conducting its first interviews for new graduates using the 'Avatar AI' system,” said Manal Matar, head of employee experience and HR digitalization (acting) at DU.

Two rooms are available for virtual interviews. There, the applicant enters the room for an interview.

Manal explained that candidates can scan QR codes to access available positions for fresh alumni and interview Khalid's avatars. Previously, the Khaleej Times reported that the UAE Government Personnel Authority (FAHR) has launched a new HR AI agent designed to rethink the provision of HR services for the federal workforce. The system acts as a virtual HR and legal advisor and provides real-time, personalized support across over 100 services including legal & HR enquiries, applications, performance management, payroll and more. HR AI agents are expected to save approximately 55,000 employees per year, reduce HR help desk inquiries by 50%, and improve efficiency in responding to policy and compliance questions.
