London, September 25th, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -Expleo's AI Pulse Sentiment Tracker revealed a positive outlook among UK business leaders on AI in August, with an overall score of 73, indicating high confidence in the benefits of the AI program.
Commissioned by a global engineering, technology and consultant service provider, Expleo AI Pulse measures feelings about AI use ranging from 0 (very worried) to 100 (very confident).
This index captures the level of worry, excitement, trust and trust in AI-driven technology, providing unique insight into collective attitudes towards AI to change over time and inform business leaders of decision-making.
In August, over 200 respondents participated in the first Expleo AI Pulse, with their emotional score reaching a positive 73 in the UK. More than half of those surveyed were excited by the opportunities AI brings to the organization (52%), with 8 in 10 confident in their ability to use AI (80%) normally and trusting that AI will be used ethically (84%).
When asked if they were worried about how AI would change their business, the opinions were somewhat divided, with one-third confirming fear (36%), while four in ten said they had no worries at all (44%).
Jeff HoyleEVP and MD UK & NA, Expleo said: “Most positive photos from August suggest that many organizations are excitedly competing for AI promises, focusing on greater productivity, more accurate decision-making and improving client experience.”
“On the other hand, this positivity is best suited to the adoption of UK innovation and technology, but we are paying attention. Some organizations are also beginning to report challenges with scaling to the company level, citing concerns about integration with legacy systems, budget constraints and lack of internal experts affecting their ability to earn investment benefits.”
Following the launch of DeepSeek and the data security risks it exposed, respondents were also asked about their opinions on AI in cybersecurity. And opinions are deeply divided, with 56% giving the source of concern and 42% saying they are not worried.
Hoyle added: “The discrepancies regarding the impact of AI on cybersecurity may reflect the double-edged nature of technology, which can be used to predict and prevent cyberattacks.
“Like everything that is related to AI, it moves very quickly and is set to become more complicated as the technology becomes more refined. We watch closely and track changes monthly through AI pulses.”
