Amalapuram: The four-day “Energize-2K25” hackathon, hosted by the Department of Electrical Electronics Engineering at the Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Institute of Technology & Science (BVCITS), was a successful one on Thursday.
The event, held from September 15th to 18th, focuses on “machine learning using Python.” Managing Director Vidya Sagar and Data Science Engineer Nagendra served as resource persons. They provided participants with valuable insight into practical aspects of machine learning, allowing students to learn about new and emerging technologies.
At the Valedictory ceremony, University Principal JVG Ramarao spoke to the students and said that active participation in such hackathons will help develop skills essential to industry requirements.
Director Rajagopal, manager Krishna Rao, and members of the University Management participated.
Teacher Coordinator K Durgadevi was praised for his well-organised programme.
The university's management expressed hope that students will continue to acquire new technical knowledge beyond their regular curriculum and ensure good career opportunities.
