Beijing, September 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ – The 22nd China-Asean Expo, held from Wednesday to Sunday in Nanning, the capital of the Cantonese Zhuang Autonomous Region of South China, features a 10,000 square meter hall dedicated to artificial intelligence.
It is the largest single-themed pavilion in Expo's history, showing around 1,200 advanced AI products from both domestic technology companies and international partners. Highlights include innovations such as large-scale language models, robots, wearable devices, and intelligent application platforms, along with technical achievements from ASEAN countries such as Brunei, Malaysia and Thailand.
The “AI CAEXPO” intelligent system, launched last Saturday, is specially designed to integrate 17 scenarios, including smart conferencing, navigation and itinerary planning, and streamline on-site operations.
At the core of the event, the system supports strengthening Caexpo's development, providing exhibitors with a sophisticated intelligent experience in itinerary management, customer engagement, business matchmaking and multilingual negotiation.
Additionally, the first minister's roundtable on artificial intelligence was held during the expo, promoting accurate industry cooperation between China and ASEAN.
For the first time, Expo will reveal its list of “China's future AI unicorn companies becoming global” and will host more than 10 AI-themed events.
To support robust decision-making for businesses, this year's Caexpo has registered scholars, industry experts and well-known think tanks to compile the blue book, “Asean Economic and Trade Copy Outlook.”
The publication analyzes trends in two-way economic and trade collaboration, focusing on exploring new business opportunities in nine key areas of China and the ASEAN free trade area in version 3.0.
Expo's Executive Director Wei Zhaohui said that Caexpo is not only a co-hosted economic and trade event by China and ASEAN, but also serves as a “nanning channel” that strengthens cross-border people-to-people connections.
To solidify the public opinion foundation for the future common and closer communities of China and ASEAN, Expo continues to implement the growth programme for China and Young Leaders, with reports written by the first batch of participants released at the Expo.
Additionally, 30 participants have been selected for the second batch, and the program will continue to nurture young leaders as builders and heirs of friendships between China and ASEAN.
