Disposal – In a direct swipe in the Muslim community, the Assam unit of the Bharatiyajanata Party shared an AI-generated video suggesting that without the BJP the state would be under Muslim control.
BJP Assam Pradesh posted a video on September 15th to its X account, and has so far received 2.5 million views.

The video begins with an elderly Muslim man cutting meat with the text “Legalizing Beef.” He then moved to the opposition leaders of Lok Sabah Rahul Gandhi and his assistant leader Gaurav Gogoi, raising the Pakistani flag in the background, saying, “Pakistan is an incredible link.” Next, we show the famous tea garden in Assam. Only Muslim tourists in the text “Assam Tee State” will be displayed.

The video also shows landmarks such as Guwahati Airport, the famous water theme park Guwahati Akoland, the Ahom Dynasty, Guwahati Stadium and Langga, the oldest amphitheater in which the entire town is solely home to Muslims and is used as a royal sports pavilion.
The video shows the claim that illegal immigrants easily enter Assam from neighbouring countries, Hindus have lost their land to Muslims, and that without the BJP the state has a 90% Muslim population.
The video then ends with “carefully choosing your vote.”
Assam currently governs Himantabiswasarma as prime minister by the BJP. Himanta is known for his Islamophobic remarks and openly calls for stricter measures against illegal immigrants, particularly targeting Muslim communities.
The state's assembly elections will be next year.
Hyderabad MPs and Aimam chief Assaddin Owaisi took him to X and expressed his anguish and called it disgusting.

The internet appears to be split, with some calling it “a very scary situation” and others calling it “a motive for spreading joint hatred.”
One X user ocked the saffron party and said, “The BJP can't campaign without Pakistan.”
Another X user said, “I am shameful to all Assam Hindu who support this malicious ad. This is a reduction in the community state that @himantabiswa radicalized to Assam.”
Another X user says, “The politics of BJPS hatred is becoming cancerous for India. It thrives by splitting Hindus and Muslims just to win votes, rather than uniting.”
Another said, “With watching this campaign of the BJP in Assam, it becomes clear that they once again relied on the politics of fear and division. The diversity of Assam, which has been the strength of this state for centuries, is portrayed as an issue.
