Shailesh Kumar Davey, CEO and co-founder of Zoho Corporation, talks about stepping into leadership after Sridhar Vembu. On the subject of global employment, he described Zoho's approach as deeply rooted in local involvement. “We call it cross-border localism,” he explained. “There are a lot of offices around the world that invest in the community rather than driving everything from India.”
Speaking about comprehensive workforce development, he emphasizes Zoho's commitment to fostering talent. “We hired from another section of society,” he said. “We train them, get jobs, give them that runway to choose their skills, and then they contribute to us.”
