New Delhi: The news agency Ani has reported that a FIR has been registered with DERHI for parliamentary leaders regarding the distribution of AI-generated videos featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother Heeraben Modi. The video, shared by the Bihar Conference's official X-handle on September 10, described in the FIR as “defamously detrimental and gross violations of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother's laws, morality and women's dignity.”

The lawsuit was filed in 2023 under multiple sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita following a complaint by Sanket Gupta, convened by BJP Delhi Election Cell. While filing the FIR on Friday, Gupta argued that the AI video shown by Prime Minister Modi, who dreams of his late mother criticizing his politics in vote-bound Bihar, was designed to undermine the image of the prime minister and scorn the memory of his mother.AI video elicited sh shotgun responses from the Bharatiya Janata party. The JP Nadda Party president accused the stooping of opposing “irresponsible” and “power-hungry” tactics. He warned that the Congress would receive “appropriate responses from the people of Bihar.”“The abuse was thrown to Modi's late mother by someone who was understood to have been incited by the Congress and its allies. Now, the latest video from Congress confirms they have a dirty mindset,” Nadda said.BJP MP Anurag Thakur also said, “The mother's place is the highest in everyone's life, but the Congress and RJD abused the Prime Minister's late mother, lowering the lower the way they post bad videos showing Congress' thinking. However, Congress defends itself, claiming that the video is not rude. “What are their objections? Where is this because mothers are trying to educate their sons to do something right? This is not rude to the mothers we truly respect. He later told Annie:”
