Are the videos of Donald Trump posted by the White House after Charlie Kirk's filming, generated by AI? Several social media users have shared a cropped portion of the footage, claiming that “it appears to be providing the official message by Trump's AI avatar.”

An X user going by the name @mattbinder writes:

As claims about AI-generated content emerged, WhatsApp groups focused on AI became involved in the debate. Some users claimed that the clip was generated by AI, while others believed it was simply a true speech that was changed in the morph migration.

Other X users said, “Trump's video was at least partially AI. Has anyone seen him since the Charlie Kirk shooting? The suspect is still massive. How deep is this?”

How X users responded:

The video posted by the White House on Thursday morning has received more than 3.4 million views.

Right-wing youth leader and prominent Trump ally Charlie Kirk has been shot dead by an official who he described as a “political assassination.”

President Donald Trump has accused the murder of a video address from his oval office. “This is a dark moment for America,” he said in a message posted to the True Society, which praises Kirk as the “true martian.”

Trump also denounced his enemy and accused the “radical left” of promoting hostility towards conservatives. “For years, they've compared great Americans like Charlie with the Nazis to the worst mass murderers and criminals in the world,” he said, vowing to crack down after the assassination.

At just 31 years old, Kirk established himself as a powerful voice in conservative politics, co-founding Turning Point USA and building public supporters among young Republicans. His death has rewind both his movement and political establishment, raising concerns about further violence.
