The annual “Made by Google” keynote opened in a star-studded video montage, with celebrities handing over “phones” to each other. It started with “Call Her Daddy” podcaster Alex Cooper and was cut by many family names and well-known figures, including NBA star Steph Curry, Golf Pro Bryson Dechambeau and Formula 1 driver Lando Norris.
Jimmy Fallon also appeared in the intro before taking up the stage to host the event.
The celebrity cameo didn't end in the intro – they dropped their names throughout the event. For example, while attending a demo featuring pixel's text messaging platform, Fallon's screens showed recent texts with Curry, Cooper, Joe Jonas and other celebrities.
