The Institute of Artificial Intelligence Technology, launched at Fairfield University, highlights the use of responsible AI – numbers by Connecticut

In line with these policies, school officials emphasized “how AI can make things faster, more personalized and more flexible, and thus benefit countless industries.” As part of the launch event in late April, five students exhibited AI-generated short films produced as part of their coursework.

As evident from AI-generated films, technologically-heavy coursework and well-known speakers, Fairfield Dolan continues to lead and explore opportunities in the AI space. Contemplated for the Institute: events, lectures, and visits to campus from well-known speakers with expertise in AI and Tech spaces. Additionally, “supporting influential research projects such as providing advice and consultation, including both academic and practical research projects to improve awareness of the latest trends in the AI field, and daily productivity.”

“We are dedicated to building practical and freely available tools, providing consultation and positioning Fairfield Dolan as a leader in ethical service to the common interest,” Dr. Tao said. The website reflects what it points out: “The Institute not only promotes the use of AI and analytics, but also provides advice on encouraging students to use AI and technology responsibly.”
