I'm reading Entrepreneur Middle East, an international franchise of entrepreneur media.
In a move to redefine how businesses will begin operations in Emirates, the International Free Zones Agency (IFZA) has partnered with Mastercard and Global Tax Assistant to deploy Dubai's AI-powered business registration platform.
This new system integrates artificial intelligence into every stage of the business formation process. Enables streaming document submissions, automating compliance checks, and instant digital approval. Officials say the platform will dramatically cut setup times from days to minutes and mark a push milestone to become Dubai's global leader in smart government services.
“Entrepreneurs are now able to register their companies with unparalleled speed and accuracy,” said Jochen Knecht, CEO of IFZA. “This collaboration embodies Dubai's vision for the first high-tech business ecosystem.”
The initiative supports Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to make the Emirate one of the world's top three business cities within the next decade. MasterCard involvement also enables secure digital payments, while Global Tax Assistant provides automated tax compliance services.
The platform uses AI algorithms to validate documents, propose the optimal corporate structure, and predict licensing needs. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which make up more than 90% of Dubai's businesses, are expected to benefit most from a decline in bureaucracy.
Industry analysts suggest that the move will enhance Dubai's appeal as a startup hub. The launch is in line with a broader UAE strategy to integrate AI into key economic sectors by 2031.
