AI For Business

Community members gathered at Nocutty's Rink on Wednesday, July 30th to hold the next session in the Circle of Creation series.

Katy Keene, a marketing strategist, AI educator and founder of Keene Lane Co., led a Power Pack session to coordinate people, processes and technologies for sustainable growth.

Keene is a partner at Canva and Hubspot, and she is an AI advocate, bringing real-world tools and people's first strategies to the table.

“This is actually my third creative event,” Keene said as he began the session. “It's fun to see familiar faces.”

Her approach focused on blending emotional intelligence (EI) and AI tools in ways that enhance authentic engagement in small businesses.

She walked the attendees through various parts of her emotional intelligence, including self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. Each plays a key role in how the business interacts with clients.

“It's important to have self-awareness around your customers, so that your interactions will be smoother, understand them and be improvised,” Keene said.

The session centered around the application, as well as the creative conference circles. Combining EI and AI allows businesses to create smarter, more personalized customer journeys.

“AI is a tool. It is a resource that has the ability to use and harness emotional intelligence from human-driven testing. But at the end of the day, it's the responsibility to use it effectively.

By booking from AI-powered chatbots to customized videos and content created using generation tools, participants discussed real-world ways to apply these strategies.

Keene encouraged participants to partner with EI to use AI to enhance small businesses and improve their true emotional connections with their customers.

The next Circle of Creation session will be held on Wednesday, August 27th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm on Nocatee's link.
