Part-time Masters in Applied AI and Data-Driven Decision Making (MAIDM) to be launched in January 2026 are tailored to working professionals with a minimum of four years of work experience.
Offered for over 20 months, it combines weekend residency at the Ron Joyce Center in Burlington with an online module, perfect for anyone looking to deepen their AI and data analytics leadership without pausing their careers.
For recent alumni and early career experts, Full-Time Masters (MMAI&A) of AI and Analytics (MMAI&A) will begin in September 2026.
Strategic vision places students first
“DeGroote is committed to training the next generation of strategic leaders who can use AI and analytics ethically and effectively,” said Khaled Hassanein, dean of the DeGroote School of Business.
“As an institution at the forefront of business education, we hope that our students will thrive in a rapidly changing world economy. These new programs underscore our commitment to transformative business learning.”
AI is transforming the workforce, and business schools and our programs must adapt to this challenge, noting Manish Verma, Associate Dean of Graduate Studies.
“At the beginning of this year, McKinsey estimated the productivity potential of AI is $4.4 trillion across the industry, and PWC recently reported that AI-savvy experts will not only earn wage premiums, but will drive job growth,” says Verma.
“The message is clear: students must be prepared to thrive in this modern economy.”
DeGroote's new product unites the school's AACSB-certified tradition with modern pedagogy with access to the collaborative learning spaces at the new MacLean Center's Co-discovery Center.
With rolling admissions, streamlined digital interviews and program schedules designed for flexibility, both products aim to reduce barriers to entry for motivated individuals.
Part-time streams accommodate professionals balancing work and study, while full-time streams provide quick launch pads for AI careers.
Enrollment prospective students are advised that both programs are eligible for formal approval.
