Jameel Motors, a leading provider of mobility solutions and a select partner of top automotive brands, has signed a distribution agreement with world-renowned automotive group Geely Auto, bringing Geely's new energy passenger car (NEV) into the Italian market.
Italy is a new market entry for two car leaders, and shortly after winning the Polish contract in April, Jameel Motors won a distribution contract through a competitive process involving both local and international companies.
Italy is one of Europe's most relevant markets and has a strong potential for NEV growth. In the first five months of 2025, joint sales of electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles accounted for 11% in the Italian market. This is a 132% increase in EV registration year-over-year, indicating strong demand for innovative international brands.
This provides long-term opportunities and supports Jameel Motors' strategic expansion into high potential markets.
Jameel Motors Italia brings advanced automotive technology, a fresh selection of high-quality vehicles, and first-class customer service to Italian drivers, helping to increase the transition to electric mobility.
Jameel Motors Italia will officially launch two of Geely Auto's outstanding models in the final quarter of this year. The two models are the Geely Ex5, the next generation all-electric SUV, and the plug-in super hybrid SUV. Geely Auto Vehicles is built on the brand's advanced modular platform architecture, offering cutting-edge design, safety and performance, providing the highest quality, backed by a six-year warranty. Jameel Motors Italia aims to develop a network of professional dealers across the country, offering around 100 sales and service points when fully operational.
