Mark Cuban said artificial intelligence could create a “one man in the basement,” the world's first sign.
The 66-year-old billionaire said in a recent episode of the “high-performance” podcast that he has yet to see what AI can achieve, or what craziest.
“It's just the beginning, yes, we're still in the preseason,” Cuba said.
“It's not only making a sign, it could be just one guy in the basement. How crazy it was,” he said.
Cuban compared the AI push to the early days of computers and smartphones. He said people were hesitant about the shift, but now they'll have a hard time living without a device.
Those who can come up with ways to make AI essential “make a lot of money,” Cuba added.
“Most people blame things when they first happen,” he said. “But then you see people using it and when you recognize the value, that's when people come.”
Former Shark Tank Investor told the podcast how much they use AI is “unusual.”
He said he uses AI and its text-to-video functionality to create the software. In his personal life, Cuba said he recently used Chatgput to track his medication and exercise habits.
“I'm not here to say it's going to replace everyone's work — not,” he said, but technology is incredible whether you're innovative or just bored.
Elon Musk, the world's wealthiest person, has a total net worth of around $360 billion to $1 trillion according to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index.
His net worth peaked at around $43.9 billion in December as Tesla stocks spiked.
