Google's AI-driven video generator Veo 3 is now available in India and several other markets two months after its launch in the US. VEO 3, announced at Google I/O 2025, allows you to generate video clips up to 8 seconds using native audio using text prompts. Like some other Google AI tools, VEO 3 is available to paid subscribers worth £1,950 per month as part of their Google AI Pro plan. However, the first month is free to new users.
With Google DeepMind and Gemini's third-generation text-to-video model, VEO 3 allows you to create hyper-realistic 8-second videos at 720p resolution using built-in audio such as Speech, Ambient Sound, Effects and more. According to Google, the video has accurate lip sync for physics-based visuals. These videos have a visible, see-through watermark.
Available at a monthly price of £1,950 as part of the Google AI Pro plan, VEO 3 allows for higher limits. In the US, AI Pro plans cost $249 per month.
With the Google Veo 3 model, anyone can create videos using synced audio via text, audio and images. The AI model has full spectrum audio synchronization, allowing users to match interactions and surrounding effects to the visuals of the video. VEO 3 paves new paths for Indian creators and helps create movie videos at a fraction of the cost of traditional setups. VEO 3 is also closely integrated into platforms such as Canva and YouTube Shorts, ready to spread content without the need for a separate process.
