Google's next-generation AI video tool will be released at Gemini in the Middle East

AI Video & Visuals

Dubai: Currently paying Gemini users in the Middle East can use Google's next-generation AI-powered video creation tool, Veo 3.

Tech Giant's annual developer event announced at Google I/O, Veo 3 in May stands out at Native Audio Generation, covering everything from Voiceovers to Background Noise, competing directly with rivals like Openai's Sora.

The user can explain any scene they imagine at a short prompt. AI generates 720p 8-second video featuring synchronous audio and visuals that include ambient sounds, character dialogue, and even realistic sound effects.

“We're committed to providing a range of services to our customers,” said Eli Collins, vice president of products at Google Deepmind. Whether it's a dreamy short film or a viral meme, Veo 3 is already making waves online.

Create surreal videos

Unlike other models, “VEO 3 excels from text and image prompts leading up to real-world physics and accurate lip synchronization,” says Eli Collins, vice president of products at Google DeepMind, in a blog post highlighting the model's strengths in realism, responsiveness and user control.

All videos generated by VEO 3 come with Hidden Synthid Watermark, a digital signature from Google, which uses AI to label the content generated by AI. The company is also testing SynthID detector tools that help identify synthetic media.

Additionally, all Veo-generated clips except those made by ultra-tier members using Google's new flow filmmaking platform will feature visible watermarks for transparency.
