The video (here, here, here) is in viral showing reporters covering allegations of the “Tiger Market.” The market is shared with the claim that it is located in Bagelhat, Bangladesh, and Royal Bengal tigers are available for sale there. Find the truth behind this video.
Claim: Viral video shows the scene of the real tiger market in Bangladesh.
fact: The video does not depict the actual tiger market. It was created using Google's “VEO” AI tool and has been verified that multiple AI detection tools have been generated by AI. Therefore, the argument is error.
To find the truth, we looked closely through the video and noticed some contradictions. The expressions of both the Tigers and the people looked unnatural in the place. This is a common trait (here and here) found in deepfake or AI-generated content.
Additionally, I did reverse image searches on Google and was led to several enhanced versions of the same video. These clearly stated that the video was generated by AI. We also found the same clip shared on other social media handles. Many of them explicitly state that the video is AI-made (here, here, here). Additionally, you will see a “Veo” watermark in the lower right corner of the unreleased video (here, here). This watermark confirms that Viral video was created using Google's “Veo” AI model (here, here, here, here, here, here, here).
Additionally, we used Google's “SynthID” tool, which detects content generated by AI models, to confirm that the video was created using Google AI.
We also used AI detection tools such as Hive. This showed an 89% chance that the video would be generated by AI. Based on this and other supporting evidence, it has been confirmed that the video is a deep faki created using AI.
In summary, the video claiming to show the Tiger market in Bangladesh is a deepfake created using AI.
