For four weeks, from the end of May until yesterday, the Internet served as a platform for European-Asian dialogue on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to address issues related to climate change on our planet.

The series of online seminars under the umbrella title “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technology in Environmental and Sustainable Development” is aimed at representatives of business, government, scientific and educational institutions in Central Asia and was supported by representatives of private business and development institutions in Serbia, Slovenia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The first event already served as a kind of “opening ceremony” in the series, a principled agreement was reached between the Bishkek Institute for Technology and Environmental Management (Instem) in Central Asia and the Institute for Artificial Intelligence (Serbia) of Novi SAD (Serbia) (Serbia).

Practical solutions to environmental issues presented in subsequent seminars by Vodena, Dunavnet and Treesury (Serbia), and Greenmesh (Slovenia) show possible methods and approaches to address environmental surveillance, water and energy saving issues, and approaches to reduce the carbon footprint of human activity in both metropolitan and rural areas. All seminar participants, including experts from Central Asian countries, agreed that the undeveloped possibilities of AI could be used to improve the urban environment of Tashkent, Bishkek, Almati, Dushanbe and other large and small settlements.

The event was held by the Voivodina Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and consulting firms Go Big (Serbia), Instem, Greenmesh, and the Central Asian Artificial Intelligence Association (AICA, Tashkent).

Summary of the results of four conferences by Darko Savic, advisor to CCI Vojvodina on international economic relations, interregional cooperation and project activities, not only strengthens the reputation of the meeting rooms held by the parties, but also expressed confidence that it would be open to the central countries of science and science science as well as strengthening its reputation as a reliable partner for dialogue with the central countries of Asia between the Balkans, Balkans and Danubi countries and the central countries of Asia.
