Uber Technologies (Uber) said Friday it will expand its AI data services business, open operations and set up a new foundry to support AI Labs and Enterprises globally.
The riding giant said it would expand its Uber AI solutions to provide “smart AI models and agents, a global digital task network, and customized data solutions to build tools that help businesses build and test AI models more efficiently.”
“We bring together Uber's platforms, people and AI systems to help other organizations build faster and smarter AI,” said Uber AI Solutions Head Head Yethadka.
Uber also said it was launching a new foundry using “custom collection datasets” that include audio, video, images and text to train large AI models.
Uber's shares rose about 1.5% at the opening bell on Friday. This year it has increased by around 40%.
