Regional Development Australia (RDA) Melbourne will hold an AI forum in Torquay next week to explore how it can be used for AI and small businesses.
Featuring a lineup of guest speakers, industry experts and practical examples, the forum shows how companies can use technology to add value to their business.
Supported by RDA Barwon South West and its duties, skills, industry and local departments, the forum also includes breakout sessions to learn important skills through case studies and demonstrations.
Lala-based Naegi, who grew up to become one of the nation's biggest, will also share her experiences and learnings at the forum.
The findings from the National AI Center (NAIC) show that AI is ready among Australian companies and strategies need to be adjusted to boost understanding and adoption.
A NAIC survey shows that 40% of small and medium-sized businesses employ AI, while 21% don't know how to use technology.
Boomaroo Nurseries develops AI strategies to improve quality and productivity across the site, and to develop energy heating systems at the LARA site, allowing them to run whenever necessary.
Business CEO Peter Smith will be present at the forum and share his challenges, benefits and reality of hiring AI.
It also presents Rita Arrigo, a leading expert in digital strategy and AI, providing a national perspective on AI opportunities and recruitment over the next few years.
RACV Torquay Resort will hold its forum on June 20th.
