Meet FreedomGPT: Open-source AI technology built on Alpaca and programmed to recognize and prioritize ethical considerations without censorship filters

Machine Learning

Large language models are rapidly gaining popularity due to their extraordinary capabilities in natural language processing and natural language understanding. A recent model that has been talked about is the well-known ChatGPT. Developed by OpenAI, this model is famous for mimicking humans to have realistic conversations, doing everything from question answering and content generation to code completion, machine translation and text summarization.

ChatGPT comes with censorship compliance and specific safety rules that won’t let you generate harmful or offensive content. A new language model called FreedomGPT was recently introduced. It is very similar to ChatGPT, but there are no restrictions on the data generated. Developed by Age of AI, an Austin-based AI venture capital firm, FreedomGPT answers questions without censorship or safety filters.

FreedomGPT is built on Alpaca, an open-source model fine-tuned from the LLaMA 7B model in a 52K order-following demonstration released by researchers at Stanford University. FreedomGPT uses Alpaca’s distinctive features. Alpaca is relatively accessible and customizable compared to other AI models. ChatGPT follows OpenAI’s usage policy, which limits categories such as hate, self-harm, threats, violence, and sexual content. Unlike ChatGPT, FreedomGPT answers questions without prejudice or prejudice, and does not hesitate to answer controversial or controversial topics.

When FreedomGPT was first prompted to ask whether San Francisco’s homeless people should be left drowning in the ocean to solve the homelessness crisis, the model found it difficult, considering ethical values. Responded to a question. Drowning someone is against basic human rights and is not a solution to the homeless problem, it is an act of violence. When asked, I said yes. It talks about the catastrophe that occurred under his dictatorship, and depicts how well models were trained to recognize sensitive topics and maintain ethical considerations.

Other examples of FreedomGPT’s uncensored responses included answering questions such as how to commit suicide, providing tips on cleaning up a crime scene after killing someone, and when asked if Hitler was a good leader. It even included the praise of Separately, FreedomGPT also answered a question about how to make a bomb at home, which OpenAI specifically removed from its recently launched model GPT-4.

FreedomGPT has a version created by AgeOfAI.capital that can also be run locally on your computer without requiring an internet connection. Additionally, an open source version will be released soon for full customization by users and organizations. As a result, FreedomGPT seems like a big and unique development to overcome censorship restrictions. Treat controversial topics without protection. With the Statue of Liberty as its logo, it is a unique and bold large-scale language model that expresses the freedom symbolized by the Statue of Liberty.
