Millennial, Gen Z, and Gen X employees make up 75% of his workforce today, and nearly half aren’t planning to stay at his current company for more than his two years.     Work Smart is a global program that helps employees embrace new ways of working, gain confidence in the digital world of work and ultimately learn to work smarter.

    As the demand for technology applications (apps) continues to grow, we see citizen development becoming the norm. Citizen Development is a business process that encourages non-IT employees to become software developers creating business applications using her IT-approved platform. This year, we will enable and encourage organizations to develop their own apps by building a community approach to learning and support.

No matter how digital-first the world has become and will continue to be digital-first, an organization’s people are its most valuable asset. As humans, we have an innate ability to understand other people’s feelings. The story of workplace automation and AI is a story of opportunity, not a race between individuals and machines. “Digital workers,” including AI, robotics, and virtual reality, are performing routine tasks previously performed by humans, freeing us up for more focused activities. AI and machine learning will only enhance what brands can understand to personalize the consumer journey and drive commercial growth.
