At the core of this collaboration, Anthropic’s Claude models, including Claude Code, and Infosys Topaz AI products will be integrated to enable enterprises to automate complex workflows, accelerate software delivery, and deploy AI with the governance and transparency that regulated industries require.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that AI not only improves efficiency but also drives true transformative value. Together, Infosys and Anthropic aim to help clients reimagine their enterprise operating models by combining deep industry expertise, frontier AI, and engineering scale into one unified approach.

At its core is agent AI. Agent AI is a system that not only answers questions but also independently handles multi-step tasks such as processing claims, generating and testing code, and managing compliance reviews. Tools like the Claude Agent SDK, Infosys, and Anthropic allow clients to build AI agents that can operate persistently over long and complex processes, rather than one-time interactions. The collaboration will also help organizations modernize their legacy systems, combining Infosys Topaz and Claude to accelerate migration and reduce the cost of updating aging infrastructure.

Based on these agent AI capabilities, Infosys and Anthropic develop custom AI agents tailored to specific industries and business functions.

  • In telecommunications, AI agents help carriers modernize network operations, streamline customer lifecycle management, and improve service delivery, bringing intelligent automation to one of the world’s most operationally complex and highly regulated industries.
  • In financial services, AI agents enable businesses to detect and assess risks faster, automate compliance reporting, and provide more personalized customer interactions, including tailoring financial advice based on a customer’s complete account history and market conditions.
  • In manufacturing and engineering industries, Claude helps accelerate product design and simulation, shortens research and development timelines, and enables engineers to test more iterations before manufacturing.
  • In software development, Teams use Claude Code to write, test, and debug code, helping developers move from design to production quickly. Infosys has already implemented Claude Code within its Exponential Engineering organization, building internal expertise and best practices that directly inform customer engagement.

Dario Amodei, CEO and Co-Founder of Anthropic“There is a huge gap between AI models that work in demos and AI models that work in regulated industries. If you want to close that gap, you need domain expertise,” he said. “Infosys has just that expertise across critical industries like communications, financial services, and manufacturing. The company’s developers are already using Claude Code to accelerate their work and build AI for industries that require accuracy, compliance, and deep domain knowledge. “I am creating an agent.”

Salil Parekh, CEO, Infosys; “AI is not only transforming business, it is redefining how industries operate and innovate. Our partnership with Anthropic marks a strategic leap forward in the evolution of enterprise AI, enabling organizations to unlock value and become more intelligent, resilient, and responsible.” From modernizing financial services with intelligent risk management and compliance to enabling engineering companies to take the lead in AI-driven design and manufacturing, our goal is to leverage the joint expertise of Infosys and Anthropic to accelerate the realization of AI value for global enterprises.”
